Wrist rest for pawhammer

Given my experience with Gold Tone's "dojo" (dobro + banjo), where the strings are quite close to the top of the instrument at the bridge (which I'm quite keen on)--not the case with banjo--I wanted to somehow make an elevated playing surface on which the wrist could rest, thus making for less tendency for the hand to "bounce around". Voila, I found that there are these little pillows one can wear around the wrist. These are designed for computer mouse use (anti-carpal tunnel)...and they seem perfect for what I was after. (You can find them at Amazon.)

Pk is an up-stroke, like T

A reader wrote in and wasn't sure whether the Pk was a down-stroke (like M ) or an up-stroke (like T ). I'll definitely make that...
